Which terminal is mine?
Per the port's terminal guide and Visit Galveston:
- Terminal 10 (Pier 10, 1402 Harborside Dr): Royal Caribbean International. The port calls it the world's first Net-Zero Energy cruise terminal.
- Terminal 16 (1602 Harborside Dr): MSC Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line.
- Terminal 25 (2502 Harborside Dr, formerly Terminal 1): mainly Carnival Cruise Line, plus some Princess (and per the port, select Disney) sailings.
- Terminal 28 (2702 Harborside Dr, formerly Terminal 2): mainly Disney Cruise Line, plus some Princess sailings.
Assignments can change. Your cruise documents show your terminal.
Getting there
- By car: Take I-45 South over the Galveston Causeway, then Exit 1C toward Harborside Drive and follow signs to your terminal.
- Airports: Visit Galveston says William P. Hobby (HOU) is about 40 miles away, often under an hour, and George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is about 70 miles and 80+ minutes.
- Transfers: Many cruisers book a cruise-line or private shuttle from Houston. Ask us to add one.
Parking
The port runs its own cruise parking with pre-paid online reservations: outdoor economy lots, garage parking, park-and-walk lots near each terminal and shuttles to the terminals. The port says lots are lit, staffed and patrolled 24/7 by Port Police, and ADA spaces are first-come, first-served. Book and see current rates at portofgalveston.com. Parking help: 8 am to 5 pm daily.
Where to stay the night before
Drive times from Houston make a night on the island the low-stress option, especially with an early check-in. Ask us to pair a Galveston hotel with your sailing.
